The School A Historical Note.

CRESCENT HIGH SCHOOL is an educational institution. It was established in the year 1975. It is administrated by the CRESCENT WELFARE SOCIAL & EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY, registered under BIHAR SOCIETY REGISTRATION ACT. A special governing body supported by highly educated people and mocial workers of Jamshedpur are in the advisory committee and uperwise th all all round growth of the school.
Dr Shamim Ahmad came to Jamshedpur in the year 1970 and noticed t educational and economic backwardness among the growing population the MANGO keen by interested. It was also observed the middle class a poor people are keen interested in the quality of education but their resours are limited.
It was the year of 1974 when Dr. SHAMIM AHMAD took a firm decision to improve the educational environment of MANGO. There was no English medium school in this area. He approached Mrs. EVA SHAMIM AHMAD who was already teaching in a well reputed school of Jamshedpur along with a few dedicated teachers.

CRESCENT HIGH SCHOOL was started with only 28 students. Only in 2-3 year there was a tremendous response from the people who appreciated the standard of education, discipline etc. DR. SHAMIM & MRS. SHAMIM both promised to the people that CRESCENT SCHOOL will be established without any donation and help. This school has never accepted a piece of stone from the pubhe as a donation and help.
It was only the flem decision and dedication which was blessed by God and DR. SHAMIM gia highly paying joh in SAUDI ARABIA. He made sacrifice of working in desert for tong 8 years and ultimately got his school's own building and shifted from his rented house to his own in the year 1985.
Since then the school is marching forward with good academic records. The student won a lot of laurels and prizes for school and produced excellent academic result. At present many of the student who passed from this institution are serving the nation as a DOCTOR, ENGINEER, TEACHERS, TECHNICIANS etc. At present about 500 students are serving abroad in the different capacities.
